Description thibs 2003-07-10 10:34:05 UTC
Open Writer, Insert a table and select 2 rows or 2 columns so that the optimize
drop down in the table object bar becomes enabled. So far, everything OK.
Click on the optimize button. A drop down menu appears. First, it appears right
_on_ the optimize button so to get rid of it, you can't re-click on the optimize
button : you either have to click on a button enabled in the drop down menu or
to close the drop down menu by clicking on the cross at the top of the .

Here's the problem : it happens very often that clicking on the cross doesn't
work. I didn't figure out so far in which case it works and it which case it
doesn't, but what is sure is that if you play with this drop down menu, you'll
find out soon or late that sometimes the drop down menu cannot be closed by
clicking on the cross.

Another observation that might be useful : If you move the drop down menu in
order to see the optimize button again in the table object bar, then if you
click on it, _another_ drop down menu appears, the first one isn't closed.
However, in my opinion, this is just a problem of screen refresh because if I
move the newly created drop down menu, then the first one disappears.

I cannot reproduce this behavior with the
OOo_1.1rc_030710_LinuxIntel_install_fr.tar.gz archive. It seems to be fixed.
Closing the bug.
