OO.org 1.1rc build 'i' 
Installed OO.org on Sun's SLEC Linux OS (mercury desktop release_03)
OO.org does not integrate into the launch, applications, office menu.

I don't understand why this bug is closed as wontfix - it's very
simple to add OpenOffice to Gnome menu during user install - just
register .desktop files in file
~/.gnome2/vfolders/applications.vfolder-info

Look at http://www.freedesktop.org/standards/menu-spec/ for more info
about this.

I'm attached modified  ~/.gnome2/vfolders/applications.vfolder-info to
bug #12344
