How to reproduce:
Set up a mail merge and include the record number field as one of the data
fields inserted on to the page.  Perform the mail merge and the numbers will not
print out.

This bug was not part of the 1.0.x releases.  I wonder if it is related to Issue
15100 ?

phill, thanks for reporting this.

to me this pretty much sounds like an issue of the integration of DBA
into Writer.

Got broke by fixing internal #107698#.

Additionally the record number presented was always incremented. 
Fixed in cws sw022
