Slides created with notes in Impress. Saved in ppt format. Presentation opened 
in Power Point 2002. Notes read correctly on the screen in the box under the 
slide but if printed, a view of the slide master is printed in very large font 
as a sort of water mark. It goes under the picture of the slide but over the 
notes so as to make them largely unreadable

Slides created in Impress with notes. Saved as ppt file. Opened in PP 
2002 on Windows ME machine. Slides and notes view normaly but if 
printed the slide master appears as a sort of watermark in a very 
large font. The slide master goes under the picture of the slide but 
over the notes.

Sorry for the long delay.
I get your file but I can't load it. Neither with PPT nor with OOo.
Maybe the file is defect.
Can you still reproduce the bug with the latest OOo version?
Please send me another document or write me a step by step description
how to create such a file if the bug still occures.

I have resent the file. I have checked it loads into v 1.0.3.

I can reproduce the bug.
Print the notes of slie 2 as Landscape and you see the bug.
Please have a look.
