Description Unknown 2003-06-28 09:40:55 UTC
I'm running Open Office in my office and pdf printing is just what I need but
somehow. There are some problem on the Chinese PDF printing.
It is printing good with the M$ Windows Default Chinese Fonts but not the fonts
that I've, It gave me a totally different view inside the pdf files.

From the pdf files, I know it is printing. but just wrong coded.
This is happening on RH9 with Open Office 1.0.1 on printing (not pdf print but
just print) as well.

Will attatch the pdf files if possible.

Please provide the sxw file to reproduce. This behavior should be

Sorry to reopen this issue, as it is still happning.

I would like to provided the Fonts files so that you can have a look
on it but it is very big, about 6MB.

Any Suggestion?

I've exportet your template and it looks good under Win-XP.
For Win98 I think I need the fonts. You can give me an URL where I can
get them or you can try to send it to me by email.
Comment 11 Unknown 2003-08-05 03:50:59 UTC
Well, If you change the font in Win98 to the default Windows Fonts
(Mingxxx) then it will also print out the right Chinese.
But for someother fonts it didn't and wouldn't.

The only things I can think of is font loader/driver didn't manage to
get the right character setting inside the fonts so it display the
wrong stuff.

Hum and about the font, Let me get them in a places where you can
download them all (well it is 7xxMB) and I'm only using 384/128K (so
it will take you Days) to download them all.

Will send you an private email when it is done.

Thank You

You should have success by using the RC4

When you know it is an win98 problem only, don't forget that Microsoft
will stop the support at next Year.
