Description robert.kinsella 2003-06-27 18:23:53 UTC
(If this is the incorrect component, please reassign to correct one, thank you)

OO.org does not work with mozilla 1.0.1 on rh8.0.
I had configured /usr/bin/mozilla in the external programs section of tools /
options. I tried both mozilla 1.x option1 and mozilla 1.x option 2.

error reported on terminal line :-
/usr/lib/mozilla-1.0.1/mozilla-bin: relocation error: /usr/lib/libjsj.so:
undefined symbol: __vt_24nsGetServiceByContractID

After downloading mozilla 1.4 rc3, and reconfiguring OO.org to use it (installed
to /opt/mozilla) I had no problems sending a mail from a writer document.

HI->TM: Sounds like your area.

There has been a problem in the past (1 year or longer ago) with older
mozilla versions coming with the linux package. But in the recent
past, those problems have been gone with newer mozilla versions. So as
it is already mentioned within this issue, this problem does not occur
anymore .
