Description mkosmul 2003-06-21 09:32:42 UTC
After I installed OO 1.1 Beta 2, I installed some additional spellchecking
dictionaries (I just copied my OO/share/dict/ooo directory from the Beta 1
install over the corresponding directory in Beta 2). Now, OO doesn't save the
configuration of linguistic tools - all three modules
(spellchecker/hyphenator/thesaurus) available in the "Writing aids" branch of
the options dialog are disabled and when I enable them, click OK and then reopen
the options dialog box, they are disabled again.

Hi,

This is a duplicate of 15362. This is already fixed in the upcoming OOo 1.1 RC.

So resolving this as a duplicate.

Seee issue 15362 for a workaround involving removing Linguistic.xcu from
share/registry/......
