Description atakahas 2003-06-19 04:15:58 UTC
After reading and querying a MySQL data source all of the graphics I've inserted
into the document disappear and are replaced with a box that says Read-Error.

If I close the document without saving and reopen it, the graphics are present
again.

If I save the file under a different name and then close it, the graphics are
missing from BOTH the original and new file upon reload.

My database I'm using only has 37 records.

Version info: MySQL 4.0.13
               MyODBC 3.51.06
               unixODBC 2.2.0

I seem to remember seeing a similar issue with disappearing graphics showing up
before but I can't seem to find it now.

Target Set.

Sorry, this issue may have nothing to do with the Data Source access
as I originally thought. I'm having a really difficult time
reproducing this bug with a set number of steps.

I can't find any direct cause for why the graphics disappear. It just
seems to happen after I've been working with a document for a few hours.

Oddly, the document which had been having these problems has been open
for 7 hours now without incident. On the day I filed the issue, this
problem was happening every five minutes and I was only noticing it
when I swapped between the Data Sources window and my document. I
think something unrelated to OpenOffice may have been making my system
unstable.

I'll refile this issue if it happens again or I can find a way to
reproduce it.

As soon as you have a nice catch, do not hesitate to open a new one.
