Description Unknown 2001-08-29 18:29:15 UTC
Can't delete page 3 of attached document.
Document has tables only on first two pages, in two different page styles.
Page 3 is empty (was inserted during editing for safety reasons, with intent to
delete later)
Page 4 is newspaper column text in yet another style.
I can add and delete other pages marks, but I'd like to be able to delete Page
3. How do I do it?

- Go to page 3
- Format/paragraph/text flow
- uncheck "Page break"
- delete that paragraph
- do the same with the first paragraph of the next page or something
similar (apply a page break with new page style for that paragraph) if
you like to keep the other page style for the manual index

=> not a bug.

I tried to follow the directions. I was indeed able to unset the Page
Break in Paragraph/Text Flow, but I could not "delete that paragraph",
for page 3 is empty.

1. To see empty paragraphs, switch on the nonprinting characters.
2. Page breaks are visible as a thin blue on the top text border of a
page, meaning that the first paragraph on that page has the attribute
"page break before" or the last one on the previous page has "page
break after".
3. This is not a "how to" forum.

Thank you for your comprehension.

Thanks for suggesting Wiew non-printing characters.

For a while I found myself stuck with an empty line (paragraph) at the
bottom of page 2, preventing Table 4 from sitting right at the bottom.
To get rid of the empty line, I defined its text flow as: "Break Page
Before with new (custom) style "omitted"). Now the document is as I wish.

Thanks for your help. I'm closing this issue.
