I have 1.0.1 and have tried 1.0.3. When I try to paste text from a website Open
Office locks up. I can CTL ALT DEL and end task and it closes but this happens
every time. If I select Paste special and then select unformatted text I have no
problems. If I try to paste anything with HTML it locks up. I have a dual boot
system and it locks up with redhat 9 as well as in windows 2000. I have a ECS
K7VTA3 V2.X Mother Board a Athlon XP 1800 not oc'd. 256 MB Crucial Ram, Windows
2K sp2 and Redhat 9, Geforce 2 AGP card and a TNT2 PCI card, Tekram DC-390 SCSI
Card 
80GB IDE drive and a 10GB SCSI. SCSI is just temp storage all OS's boot off the IDE.
I have had the issue on some other machines. I will try this weekend to
pull/disable some cards and see if they are possibly the cause.

I use OOo 1.0.3.1 and Win2000:
I can't confirm that, works fine here, but I realized that OOo 
connects to the Internet when I press "paste" as if the info is not 
taken from the clipboard but from the website itself. Only a guess.

Can you supply a URL that causes this behavior?  I have seen this on
some MSDN pages, but haven't been able to get it to occur in 1.1Beta2.

If you had a URL then we could try it from there.

I have been testing with:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?sd=msdn&scid=kb;en-us;98159

This produces some interesting paste results, but it doesn't seem to
lock up the computer.
