Description simonbr 2003-06-01 10:10:52 UTC
The layout of the contents in the help browser is much worse than in 1.0.x

Instead of a sans serif font, a Times type font is used, indentations and
other formatting is gone and the line spacing is much too big. It definitely
makes the help more difficult to read.

It looks like a failure to apply some kind of style sheet.

I forgot to tell that this is with the Dutch help content; I can see
now that in the English help the layout is OK.
Apparently the help browser is not compatible anymore with the help
format of OOo 1.0.x.

As the Dutch translation, although not complete, has already
progressed to the point where it is of more use to many Dutch
speakers than the English help, it's very important that it can be
displayed correctly in OOo 1.1.

So it would be great if either the help browser could be made to
display the old format correctly as well, or if instructions can be
given how to update our translated help files to the OOo 1.1 help
browser format.

TM->HI: Sounds more like a help-issue than a framework-issue to me.
Please have a look, thanks !

I already found a fix.
Apparently the help browser in OOo 1.1 takes its style sheet from
default.css, which is not present in the help files for OOo 1.0.
If this file is copied from the English OOo 1.1 help files into the
directory with the translated 1.0 help files, the layout in OOo 1.1
is OK.

It seems there went something wrong with the installation.
