I imported a Word document and it resulting in both bad formatting (w/ quotes)
and when I hilight or click on an area, it actually deletes/inserts in a
different area.  File attached.

I tried clicking and highlighting in several areas of
the document, and can't see the problem.  Can you give
explicit instructions on where to click and what you see
wrong?  Maybe a screenshot would help, too.

I also had definitely no problem with opening and displaying/handling
the attached file in OpenOffice.

please give a more detailed/exact description of what you did in OO
with this document.
