Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 15038
Improperly pastes mixed English and Hebrew
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:13:10 UTC
If the following text is on the Windows clipboard in HTML Format, it is improperly pasted into the document. Visually, the English segment should be to the right of the Hebrew segment since the entire language block is Hebrew. Sorry if this is not the correct place to post this. Version:1.0 StartHTML:000000162 EndHTML:000000451 StartFragment:000000162 EndFragment:000000451 StartSelection:000000162 EndSelection:000000451 Version:1.0 <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="he"> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> </head> <body><p lang=HE dir=rtl><font face="Guttman Frank"> <span lang="en">1.1</span> בְּרֵ×Âש×Âִ֖ית </font></p></body> </html>
cp->fme: I've checked on Unix within vcl10. I copied the html snippet to file and loaded it once with soffice and once with Mozilla. Copy&Paste from Mozilla to soffice looked quite the same. D&D from Moz to soffice is broken so I couldn't test. Please have a look if you can see an issue on windows. I guess it would be a writer issue anyway since you position the portions befor Herbert gets hand on it
FME: I tried a copy and paste from mozilla. Text direction looks good, the only missing attribute is "alignment right". FME->DVO: Is this a clipboard issue? Could you please have a look?
dvo->mib: Apparently a problem in the HTML import.
if dir=rtl is specified, teh alignemnt has to be changed as well.
