Description dale 2003-05-24 04:19:25 UTC
I don't know whether this is an issue with mozilla or with OpenOffice.org.

When I do something in OpenOffice.org that would start mozilla (such as select
menu item Help/Registration or click on a link from somewhere in program to a
web site), I see the following message on the console from which I invoked soffice:

/usr/lib/mozilla-1.2.1/mozilla-bin: relocation error: /usr/lib/libjsj.so:
undefined symbol: __vt_24nsASingleFragmentCString

and the brower does not start. If the browser is already running, then things
work fine.

I am running a fairly stock Red Hat Linux 9 with all packages installed and with
current Red Hat errata install. I also have OpenOffice.org 1.0 installed on the
system.

By the way, this problem does not occur under OpenOffice 1.0 as
distributed with Red Hat Linux 9.

Also, I believe this problem may be the general case of the problem
reported by issue # 14310.
