Formulas embedded in a paragraph which is RTL get garbled. This is the case in 
both Documents and Presentations (I haven't checked other components). It 
happens with documents imported from Word or PowerPoint, and also with new 
documents created in OpenOffice.

Yep, I  see the same thing when importing forumlas from word, in
windows XP. Attaching screen shots.
Please change platform from LINUX to ALL

I'm marking this as a duplicate of issue #13249 - the only way I see 
to do it is to choose the "resolve and mark as duplicate of.." 
option - I hope that's the correct way to do it.

just in case: the problem has NOT been solved yet.

The Issue you raised has been marked as 'Resolved' and not updated within the
last 1 year+. I am therefore setting this issue to 'Verified' as the first step
