Description samuelhartmann 2003-05-18 10:09:03 UTC
Objects can be rotated by any angle or when pressing the shift key only by
multiples of a certain angle which is by default 15 degrees. This snap angle of
15 degrees can be changed in Tools --> Options --> Drawing --> Grid in the Angle
field behind the "when rotating" switch.

This angle field is inactive when the "when rotating" switch is off. To change
this field, "When rotating" has to be turned on to change the value in the angle
field and afterwards to be turned off again.

The field for the angle behind the "when rotating" switch must always be active,
because it always has an effect to the behaviour of Draw, Independent of wheter
the "When rotating" switch is on or off.

I observed the bug in OOo 1.1 Beta and OOo 1.0.1 on Linux.

Reproduceable in 1.1 beta and in a current internal one. Please have a
look.

In my opinion Samuel is right, the spin control should be always active.

Issue has not been touched for more than nine years, but problem still exists in AOO4.1. Request is valid and likely an "easy hack". Therefore back to default unassigned.
