Description edevriendt 2003-05-13 10:40:39 UTC
Given: a Word97 document containing a link to file object, such as a VISIO
file. This link got created in MSWord with :
Insert - Object ... - Create from file, link to file.

When OO Writer reads the resulting .doc file the VISIO object gets considered
as a simple graphics object. It is not linked anymore to the VISIO file.
However, OO Writer does understand the technique of linking to objects in files.

The MSWord -> OOo converter should translate the MSWord 'linked object'
to OO. 'linked object'.

Reassigned to MRU

OLE links are actually not supported by OOo. Please see #3884# for this.
