Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 14375
Imported XLS: AutoShapes with text screws up formatting
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:15:02 UTC
I'm not positive if the problem is the Autoshapes themselves, but they look different, and none of their corresponding text is in the right position. I'll attach a sample file, you can also grab it from http://galciv.bsd.st/zai_h/galcivtt.xls .

I should say, this is from an imported XLS file
Hi Daniel, one4you

As you are probably aware this also goes for autoshapes in Word documents. I have an original word document available if you like.
@IvarOO: Yes, please add a Word example document. @Sven: Looks like a problem in your area, as it does not work for Excel and Word docs. Text boxes in groups have wrong sizes, and the texts have wrong positions.
Accepted, it seems that we have problems with objects that are placed within a "Organigramm". Same happens with PPT files, therefore I added an attachment.

This issue has been fixed now in cws[sj08], it will be available in the main trunk in about a month.
sj->oc: bugfix is ready to be tested in cws[sj08]. Text boxes in groups are now having the correct position and size. (and don't take attention to the connector objects having a wrong connection path, this is another issue)
Reset resolution to fixed
verified in internal build cws_sj08
Fix available in developer snapshot OOo680m38
