Description egilbert3 2003-05-08 01:08:09 UTC
I have a custom gradient that goes from white to a light blue. Sometimes the
gradient goes from white to blue; sometimes it goes from blue to white (without
changing the settings). It looks like saving and re-opening the presentation
precipitates the reversal.

I generally save the presentation by closing the app and accepting the offer to
save. (as a .ppt by my setting, but I decline saving it as a template.)

I don't see a way to attach a file to this report, but I made a copy of the file
as it stands now, and I'd be happy to send it.

Now that I have a workaround, this is significantly less annoying, but if you're
unable to fix it, please document the behavior.

Reassigned to Christian.
Comment 2 christian.guenther 2003-05-16 15:27:44 UTC
This sounds very similar to a known internal bug. The internal bug
will be fixed in the OOo 1.1 Beta2.
Please check your bug again in the OOo 1.1 Beta2 and reopen the issue
when the bug still occures.

I close the issue.
Please reopen the issue when the bug still occures in OOo 1.1 Beta2
Comment 4 egilbert3 2003-05-25 21:37:50 UTC
Still happens in 1.1 beta2 - as first described

The attached file does it reproducibly for me. Sorry it's so long.

I can't be absolutely certain that it's beta2 because the Help>About
menu entry just says that it's 1.1. But I did uninstall beta1,
downloaded beta2, checked that the name of the zip file indicated that
it's beta2, and only then did I install it.

Comment 9 christian.guenther 2003-05-27 15:38:08 UTC
I can reproduce the bug with the attached document.
I get a Step by step description via email:

- open the file
- insert a space into the title (or from experience, I believe that
you can insert it anywhere.)
- save the file
- re-open the file.
- The gradient will have been reversed from the first time it was opened.

Please have a look.

Occures also with fillings in textobjects.
Have a look to issue 25088 which is duplicate to this issue.

Because of limited resource for OOo2.0, it was decided to shift this tasks to
the next milestone. If somebody will be found, who can implement this until
OOo2.0, then this tasks will be re-targeted.

Seems to be another dupe to
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=70102.
Resolving as such ...
