Description skeeve 2003-05-07 08:06:30 UTC
Not really tested with OOo 1.1 Beta but SO 6.1 beta - sorry. Same occured with
SO 6.0.

I have a password-encrypted library which is located somewhere where every user
can read. Filepermission are rw-r--r-- for files and rwxr-xr-x for directories.

Now stranghe things happen...
1. Every file is owned by root.
Then I can add the library (as reference) to the user's libraries.
But it won't work. The macros can't be found by the buttons etc. which
should start them.
2. Every file is owned by the user
Everything works fine when the library gets linked.
2a. After linking I do a chown root for the complete directory where my files
reside and everything STILL works fine.

Correction!

Remoe 2a. In SO6.1 encrypted basic libraries can only be used if they
are owned by the user :-(
Comment 2 ooo 2003-05-07 14:46:18 UTC
not an API issue
Comment 3 skeeve 2003-05-07 21:06:09 UTC
So what is it, Michael? I have a demo showing the bug.
Comment 4 ab 2003-05-09 11:43:18 UTC
Sounds very confusing... ;-) I will check it.
No regression -> OOo 2.0
Comment 5 ab 2003-06-27 14:54:04 UTC
Wrong usage of new/started -> set to started.
Comment 6 christof.pintaske 2004-06-17 17:02:27 UTC
cp: retargeted to Office-Later due to limited ressources

Sorry, I cannot reproduce the problem, but maybe I did not understand the
scenario. But this issue is very old anyway and refers more to 6.1 but to
OOo 1.1. Could you please check if this problem still occurs with a current
src680 build? -> For now set to WORKSFORME

This issues has been "RESOLVED" for quite a time, I assume I can close it ...
