Description shlomif 2003-05-02 17:42:27 UTC
When a file is initially saved as a filename and then one attempts to save it again, the following
message appears:

"Could not create backup copy"

And the file is not saved.

This can be resolved by setting the Backup path to somewhere where the current
mundane user owns. Otherwise, the backup path is only writable by root.

I think the default should be to store them somewhere under the user's home directory.

Not reproducible in a OO 1.1 Beta2 (single user installation). Sounds
like root has done the installation but a user tries to work with it.
That won´t go ! In that case, do a network/client installation or use
the current installation as the user, who has done it.
