Description gemal 2003-04-29 10:02:29 UTC
if you paste this into a sheet:
1.3	40.970

that's:
1.3<tab>40.970

the 1.3 is automaticlly converted into "01-03-2003" and I cant change it back.

I tried to format the field as number but then it just writes "37681"

HELP

Hi Henrik,

indeed this is a problem. I've tried it using paste special and before
formating the cell as english language while my system locales are
german. Doing it this way the numbers get's in as such and not
converted into a date.

As this works as intended, the autorecognition of dates is a feature,
I've to close it as worksforme.
