Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 13855
Crash during Windows 1.0.3 printer settings change
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
The Writer 1.0.3 file in question is marked read-only from Windows Explorer. That may have something to do with this bug. However I got the same crash after removing the read-only flag. Open file. File menu, printer settings. Change printer from and to IBM 4019 LP PS39 (print to file) EPSON Stylus COLOR 900 USB Get OpenOffice dialog "An unrecoverable error has occurred." Then get hard Windows crash dialog "Instruction at 0x00231d49 referenced 0x676e697c. Memory could not be written." The file is my personal resume so I would rather not upload it.
Hi, I get the same message with 1.0.3 and W2K. I first noticed when I tried to print my document using a printer other than my default printer ... File, Print, and then when I select the printer it crashes. It's not to do with the printer as I tried changing the required printer to my default and it worked fine! Thanks, Cheryl
