Description darkmagess 2003-04-24 04:21:35 UTC
I made a flyer in the Drawing program that I wanted to export to pdf. I
selected All and tried both optimized for screen and optimized for print and it
crashed with an unrecoverable error both times.

Would it be possible to attach the file of the flyer? I tested the pdf
export with version 1.1beta and had no problems. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but this was not reproduceable here in any way. Is the crash
still reproduceable? Does it occure with other files as well? Thanks.
Comment 4 darkmagess 2003-05-04 06:12:15 UTC
No, I'm able to make other pdfs. I tried a plain text file and that
worked fine. I even reinstalled OO and tried that file and it still
crashed. I don't know what else to try.

Maybe some additional information about the version you are using
helps: please go to Help/about openoffice.org..In the following
dialog box please type STRG-S-D-T, all keys together. The box should
start to scroll. What is written under the okay button? (Should be
something like 644 (build:8557) or so. Please have a try. Thanks in
advance!

Comment 7 wolframgarten 2003-05-05 15:32:17 UTC
CTRL, sorry!
Comment 8 darkmagess 2003-05-05 15:37:31 UTC
CTRL SDT doesn't do anything :/

Taken from the help files, maybe this can explain it better than I could:
"Versions and Build Numbers
1.Choose Help - About StarOffice. This opens a dialog containing
document information.
2.To obtain further information, hold down Ctrl and press the letters
S D T in succession. At the beginning you will find information about
the version and build number. This is followed by a list of employees.
To stop the information before the end, press Esc."
Hope this helps :-)

644 (8557)

That's what the About Box said

Yes, that was what I asked for. But it did not take me further in
solving this problem. I have still no problems exporting the file to
pdf on Win2000 with the same version of OO, I'm sorry.
The last thing would be to re-build the file and export it after each
step so it gets visible what might cause the trouble. Have you tried this?

Sorry, without being able to reproduce this and without further
information I have to close this. Thanks for your helping anyway.
