Please upload the document that causes this problem
or give us a URL to it.
Also, please try OpenOffice.org1.1beta and see if
it solves it.
Thanks!

Comment 3 wine 2003-05-13 11:57:53 UTC
L.S.,

OOo1.1beta does not have the same bug, i.e. it does not crash while
saving the writer document to the MS Word format.

Best Regards,

Maarten

What version of glibc are you using? This is said to be a glibc
bug. See issue 10210. Apologies for not noticing sooner,
and thanks for the test case!
Comment 5 wine 2003-05-15 08:34:17 UTC
I'm also using debian unstable, with glibc 2.3.1-17. Seems to me this
is a dupe of 10210. The original poster of that bug already posted a
bug report for the glibc debian package at:

  http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=184696

Just out of curiosity; why is 1.1beta unaffected by this bug?

Maarten

I don't know why 1.1beta is unaffected - could be chance,
could be they did something special. However, see
issue 13577. My guess is 1.1beta has the same problem,
it's just moved around a bit. Since you have the evil
version of glibc, I'm going to go ahead and mark this
as a dupe of 10210. Thanks!
