Changing the default paragraph style "Heading" fontsize to 16, then trying to 
change style "Heading 1" -> application hangs up!

Yes this is a known problem in 633. It works again in an internal src638. So
look out for OpenOffice wit a number of 638 or higher.

You seem to suggest that the problem is solved in build 638, but it 
still does not work in build 638.

That´s wrong. I wrote "...in 638 or higher". If this would have been
fixed in 638, I´d closed this issue. This one is resolved and not closed.

Works in new 638c release.
