Hi,

I cannot print anymore to one specific printer using 1.0.3.

I am on Windows XP (w/o SP 1), running OpenOffice 1.0.3. I have a HP DeskJet
540, using the Windows supplied drivers.

Some days ago, I had trouble with this printer, no application worked and it was
not detected. I deleted the driver, re-installed the printer, and any
application can print again.

Except OpenOffice. As soon as I print, I get an (sorry, have to translate from
the German version) "unrecoverable error" and have to restart OpenOffice, where
I can restore the document.

I can print fine to any other printer, but not to that specific one.

Even reinstalling OpenOffice (I deleted ALL my settings) does not help.

What can I do? Any logs or debug information I can send in?

Addition: I can *ONLY* print to the printer set as default printer. If
it's the 540, I can use the 540, but no other printer. If it's the fax
printer, this one works, but no 540...

Just tried out 1.0.2 again - and guess what, it works!
So 1.0.3 (the version out of the German rc directory in FTP) is fubar
for me, 1.0.2 works.

You should compare the printing code in both of them, because 1.0.3 is
completely unusable regarding printing...

This bug is NOT present in 1.1Beta as well.

This is a known problem and there is a 1.0.3.1 version currently being
released that resolves this problem.

This is a duplicate of the other issue that is being tracked.  The
release anouncement will be made shortly once the mirrors sync up.
