Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 13609
3D graphics problem (but not exported!)
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:52:24 UTC
When writing a text in Drawing, then converting to 3D, a problem occurs that wasn´t in the 1.0.1 version: The text is "semi-transparent" in a strange way. But when exporting as a picture (GIF), the problem has disappeared. It still exists in the original OOo document, but when opening the GIF file in for example IrfanView or Gimp, it is just fine. A screendump and an exported GIF picture are on one of our webpages: http://www.valutronic.se/ooo.html
This seems to be a problem with the OpenGL driver of your graphic card. Please try to do a repaint using STRG-SHIFT-R. The 3D text should get a better look than. Anotther thing you can do would be to uncheck Open GL under tools/options/OpenOffice.org/View/3dview or use anothr driver which is better programmed. This is a problem where OO cannot do anything about it, sorry.
