Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 13521
No display of background colors in calc.
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:55:29 UTC
Background colors for cells do not display in calc in OpenOffice 1.1 beta. They do display properly in OpenOffice 1.02. Applied background color is displayed in the background color selection tool. Will attach example.

Hi Kirk, I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce this Issue. Opening the attached document shows perfectly a black, a blue and a green background. If this is reproducible on your system, please provide a step by step description how to reproduce it and reopen this Issue. I've to close this one as worksforme for now. FRank

1. Open attached file in 1.02. Colors display normally. 2. Open attached file in 1.1beta. Background colors not displayed. I'll attach screenshots. Perhaps this is a local configuration problem? Would a reinstall help?

Hi Kirk, yes, it seems to be a configuration problem with your machine. Sorry to tell you, but I don't know what's going on. Maybe a re-installation will help. But try to switch off the OpenGL support under Tools - Options - OppenOffice.org - View first. Maybe your graphic cards driver is not capable to handle this output format correctly. Frank

Discovered what was causing the problem. OO 1.1 Beta was the only program on my destop listening to a forgotten "high contrast" checkbox in the Windows XP acessability control panel.
