I am noticing that if you use ctrl+delete near the end of a sentence, Writer
deletes upto 2 words simultaneously. Maybe it is a feature in writer but I have
accidently lost words as a result of this feature.

I would recommend that ctrl-delete should only delete one word at a time,
wherever those words may be in a sentence.

In the first sentence of the attached document, you will notice that if you
press ctrl-delete when the cursor is just before the word "offshore", the words
"offshore outsourcing" are both deleted in one shot.
