Description Frank Schönheit 2003-04-16 07:56:51 UTC
steps to reproduce:
-------------------
* have an MS Access ODBC driver for dBase installed on your system (I use
version 4.00.6019.00, but I suppose it doesn't matter)
* create an ODBC system data source with this driver, pointing to the location
of the bibliography of your OOo installation (something like
  "OpenOffice.org1.1Beta/user/database/blbio")
* in OOo, create a data source for this ODBC system data source
* open the data source browser
* open the connection to the data source you just created
* select the table "biblio"

actual result:
--------------
nothing is displayed. Additionally, the data source browser seems to be
corrupted now: selecting any other table does not display any data anymore - you
need to close and re-open the DSB

expected result:
----------------
the data in the table is displayed properly
Comment 1 Frank Schönheit 2003-04-16 07:57:48 UTC
fs->oj: Besides the problem of not displaying the ODBC table, please
also look into why the DSB becomes corrupted - it should be able to
survive such problems without being "pseudo-dead".

It seems to be a driver problem. When using the driver version
4.00.6200.00 all woks well, not fast, but it works.

Best regards,

Ocke
