Description horkana 2003-04-15 20:56:16 UTC
I exported a .ppt Powerpoint presentation to SWF and various characters failed
to export correctly and instead they were displayed as Black Rectangles (and due
to anti aliasing these rectangles obscured surrounding text).

greek letters, inverted commas and bullet points failed to export correctly.

from past experience i would suspect Unicode and or something strange happening
with the Symbol font.

I can probably make the original presentation available by request if necessary,
but it is not mine so i would rather try and cut out the irrelavant information.

Please attach a sample document to see which characters are broken
after the export.
Comment 4 horkana 2003-04-30 18:20:20 UTC
I said i did not want to attach the document unless it was absolutely
necessary. Are you unable to replicate the problem?

I exported a simple Russian text (results with other accented
characters, like Lithuanian, Latvian, etc. are the same) to Macromedia
Flash format. Result is wrong - all non-english characters are
replaced with question marks.

I can reproduce the bug in the OOo1.1Beta on windows 98.
The bug doesn't occures in the latest internal version.
It will be work in the OOo1.1RC which is comming soon.
Please test the bug again when The OOo1.1RC is released.

I close the issue.
Please reopen the issue if the bug still occures in the OOo1.1RC.
