Description pwright2 2003-04-15 03:31:11 UTC
Hyperlinks embedded in a slide should be active, allowing jumping to (a) a
specific slide within the presentation or (b) jumping to a different
presentation (or even a specific slide in a different presentation).
Action selectable to be either click or mouseover. In the case of (b),
finishing the new presentation or hitting escape should return user to the slide
from which the jump was made.

PPT even allows a jump to an internet address but I really see no use for that
one. I suspect someone uses it, though.

I am told there is a way to create an active hyperlink within Impress. At
present, however, when a PPT presentation is imported which has an active
hyperlink, mousing over the active section of the slide causes the cursor to
change to the hand but clicking the link gets a dialog box that reads "action
could not be completed in the live mode".

This is a continuation of requests begun as Issue 13389.
