Description robert.kinsella 2003-04-09 16:38:13 UTC
SframeworkInstall.jar ed-0.2 rc4

After compiling and deploying 12 scripts (in the same parcel) to Scripts/share,
the order in which they appear in the assign script to menu/key/events dialog
lists is confusing.
The parcel-descriptor.xml file has the scripts listed in alphbetical order, they
do not appear in alphabetical order in the dialog lists.

Further, if one deploys, say 4 more scripts in a different parcel they scripts
are intermixed with the previously deployed scripts in the first parcel. Not a
problem if there are only a few scripts, but ideally the scripts should be
listed in alphbetical order

Assign to Noel - comes under general problem of script containment.
Need to have some concept of physical container and have options as to
how scripts are listed in this container - alphabetical or in order
created and listed in parcel-descriptor.xml. Is this another
deployment property that needs added?

the essential issue in this bug is the format of the scripts to be displayed
needs to be decided. For 2.0 the Tools/Configure dialog set is being redesigned.
Moving the relevant text for this bug to 21879 which is the issue for the
redesigning of this dialog set.

Only a closed issue is a good issue. :-)
