Description robert.kinsella 2003-04-09 14:11:57 UTC
SFrameworkINstall.jar ed -0.2 rc4

Assign a java script e.g. HighlightText.showForm to any event in the All
Applications assignment area. No further action, such as print document, save
document, close document etc. invokes the script. It would appear that making an
assignment in the all applcations area does not function at all.
Further, select tools, configure, events, select openoffice.org.
No java script assignments are listed.

(when a user assigns an event to a document, they are listed under configure,
events, document. Making an assignment to an event in document functions correctly)

Tried to reproduce thi son Linux and have seen some strange behaviour.

Assign the Highlight example to "create Document" event, and it works
as expected.
Assign the same example to the "print" event, and the highlight dialog
comes up briefly along with the printing info dialog, but it disposed
along with the printer info dialog.
On "Save Document" it works so long as it's not the first save
(perhaps this is a save as event?)

More work required.

Started look at this.
Comment 6 duncan.foster 2004-01-07 10:37:48 UTC
Still present (in form as per 16th May comment) in scriptingf2 builds.
Invocation is working correctly. However, the script is getting disposed on
printing is complete. Not sure why this happens.
