On the inst machine links on the home page in the "Truly Useful News" box are
broken.

The cause is that static HTML pages are attempting to parse a dynamic 
link. This will be a simple search-and-delete (note the presence of the 
string $res.code( which we will remove).

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved
<wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details.
