the mine is an enhancement proposal, cos im not quite sure (hope not) it is a 
bug: at this moment, i aint understood how to build a document index. if it is 
my fault, i suggest to simplify the process or, at least, clarify better the 
help cos a simple mind like mine don't know how to achieve it.

Could you please clarify what it is you are trying to do exactly?

If you are just wanting to set up an index for a document, go to
Insert -> Indexes and Tables.  

If this doesn't help, let me know exactly what you are trying to do.

yes this is exactly what i was looking for (but of course i had 
already found it) - i can't explain why it has been so hard to find 
out but tanks anyway for your reply
