Description dkkopp 2003-04-03 15:17:36 UTC
I downloaded and installed 1.1 beta on RedHat Linux 8.0 running on a Dell
Inspiron 7500. Here is what I did:

Started OpenOffice.org 1.1Beta presentation.
Chose File->Autopilot->Presentation
Selected From template -> Presentations -> Introducing a New Product
Selected Next
Selected Next
Typed in name of company, subject, and three lines of ideas and hit Next
Unchecked everything except Title and clicked Create

At this point the program starts creating Prsentation and Presentation Styles
windows at a rapid pace. I have to kill -9 the process.

I hope this is sufficiently descriptive.

I just tried this out running 1.1Beta on a Dell mini tower running
Windows 2000. I performed the exact same steps. It works fine on
Windows 2000.

Hi,

I have try this on my RedHat 8.0 with Gnome 2.0 and metacity-2.4.3-1.

I can't see any problem, when I follow your steps.
Which version of metacity and gnome do you have?

Bye Marc
