I'd like to have the ability to format text as hidden so that, when saved in
RTF, this would bring the text to be set as {\v hidden_text}. I need this
because I use MediaView, a multimedia authoring tool that relies on RTF source
files and hidden text to author jumps to topics. All I need is available in OOo
but this feature. And I still need to rely on MS Word for this only feature (or
edit the rtf manually)

This works in general.

Select the text to be hidden, insert->fields->other->functions->hidden
text. Export to rtf. 

To toggle on and off tools->options->text document->formatting aids->
check on or off view hidden text.

I'll close this because it works, if it doesn't do as I say you can
