Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 128595
Double items for options in drop-down menu Customize toolbar Toolbox
Last modified: 2024-03-06 17:56:21 UTC
Created attachment 87231 [details] Multiple items doubled in drop-down menu Just noticed that in the drop-down menu for the option Customize toolbar and then specifically the customization of the Toolbox ( Basic IDE) several items are doubled. How to find it: Tools > Macros > Organize Macros > OpenOffice Basic OpenOffice Basic Macros window opens Library Standard, module1 is selected. Click Edit button Next, click Dialog1 tab at the bottom of the Basic IDE If toolbar Toolbox is not shown, go to View > Toolbars and select Toolbox On the toolbar Toolbox, click the small black downwards arrow and then the option Customize Toolbar Customize window opens Click button Add Add Commands window opens In the list Category, select Controls Now, watch the list Commands !! You will see that several options are doubled ( starting with Check Box ) I've added an image. Examples in the red squares
This is not highest priority... ;-)
Also noticed in the 4.2.0.-Dev
@Matthias, sorry had to pick one :-)
1. If one starts AOO and launches the Basic IDE from the Start Center, there are no "double items". 2. The "double items" commands in the "Controls" category are i.a. for form controls. 3. The problem already existed in OOo 2.x
Created attachment 87232 [details] juxtaposing the commands in the "Controls" category
Most of the entries are not doubled but in fact different functions with the same description. Very irritating, indeed. I will try to change the descriptions for trunk/AOO42X. BTW: "Checkbox" is a bit tricky, both are the same function but with different values.
(In reply to Matthias Seidel from comment #6) > BTW: "Checkbox" is a bit tricky, both are the same function but with > different values. Do you mean: ".uno:Checkbox vs ".uno.CheckBox", ".uno:Combobox" vs ".uno.CombobBox"?
(In reply to Czesław Wolański from comment #7) > Do you mean: ".uno:Checkbox vs ".uno.CheckBox", ".uno:Combobox" vs > ".uno.CombobBox"? Exactly!
