Description Unknown 2003-03-30 20:26:45 UTC
I have set the default font to one installed on the system for Writer and
Formula. It is Times New Roman for both Win XP and Debian Woody. Additionally I
set the default font size to 10 Pt. When I reopen a certain file on either Win
XP or Linux (there does not seem to be a connection to the OS), the fromula is
almost always still in 12 Pt size and the frame of the formula is too small,
thus cutting off part of the formula. Font size is nevertheless displayed as 10
Pt in the font property menu. When you reset the font size to 10 Pt the formula
is shown correctly. There is no way for me to determine when a formula keeps its
assigned 10 Pt font size. It almost seems like the formula editor disregards the
default settings for the font size.

MRU->BH: The font size for formulas is not a persistent property. It
has to be changed for every new formula.
My idea: When using as OLE object, take the font size from the Default
Style of the client application. When using stand-alone, the font
settings should be a persistent property.
