Please install the last driver from from your graphic display or the
standard from Windows and tell us if it looks better.

I've installed newer (third-party) drivers for my Voodoo3 (found here:
http://www.falconfly.de/voodoo3.htm) and the icons is now perfectly
ok. There is no signs of described issue. It's seems that it was a
graphic card's driver problem. The only thing that bothers me - that's
the problem was with latest _official_ driver, avalible from M$
update, and the driver that solved that problem - is unofficial
ones...

ES: the newst is not always the best! ;-) And third party drivers
*may* be *sometimes* be better because third pasrty *would*
concentrate on specific issues the original company does noit have
time to solve...
in GENERAL, with such graphical problems, it is recomaqnded to:
- use the newsr driver or,
- an older one or,
- the the "default" driver shipped with the system (here Windows)
