Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 12769
(Paste Special, Unformatted text) inside cell is not working correctly
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:12:47 UTC
If I'm editing cell and wanted to paste text from other program (let say it is browser), I'm choosing Edit -> Paste Special... -> Unformatted text, but spreadsheet pastes cliboard content as it is - with all formating. And later it's not possible to set format to all cell, then I have to go inside cell again and select only text I pasted, then it is possible to change format.
Hi, I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce this behaviour. Please be a little more precisse and give us an step by step description. Best regards Frank
Chm, strange, I cannot too... But there is something a little bit different. I don't know maybe it's somewhere in settings. But... 1. Open new spreadsheet Default font - Arial, size of font - 10 2. select any cell 3. press F2 4. Put some text (for example "test") 5. Press Enter. Text in cell is writen Arial 6. go to any browser 7. select some text 8. go back to spreadsheet 9. select the same cell 10. Press F2 11. Select from menu Edit -> Paste Special -> Unformated text Text is pasted with Times New Roman font! Why not Arial?
Hi Malte, I can not reproduce it by using a browser as the source, but copying from an Writer document this is clearly reproducible. Frank
