Description Unknown 2003-03-28 04:40:09 UTC
When I attempted to install OO 1.1 beta, setup.exe reported that it could not
continue because it could not find UNICOWS.DLL. As a somewhat desperate move, I
copied UNICOWS.DLL from my Windows Media Player folder to Windows\System.
Installation continued to the point where I had chosen the type of install and
the folder, then failed with a fault in UNICOWS.DLL. I cannot install the
product on my Win98SE system.

Due to legal problems OOo is not allowed to include this dll. You have
to download aas described in the readme.

Oh Dear Microsoft,
You've finally made me see
That Win98 is not the OS for me.
Its time for an upgrade. Oh boy! Oh boy!
Now Win98 will become a mere toy.
The upgrade at hand won't be to XP
Its time for an OS with more flexibility.
My Windows OS will now be a donor
For work toward systems where I am the owner.
Our network has changed, station by station.
Thanx so much for providing the motivation!
