Description oliverk 2003-03-27 22:36:02 UTC
Immediately after installing OO 1.1 beta 1, opened a document and found that no images were
shown. Initially thought this was an import bug as it was a Word doc, but turns out that the setting
Tools -> Options -> Text document -> View -> Graphics and Objects
was unticked. Is there a good reason why this should be so? If not, I think the default should be
ticked (to show graphics).

BTW congratulations on the word import improvements - excellent work. And in fact on the added
export formats as well.

I'll take a look for that.
Comment 2 oliverk 2003-04-05 17:42:11 UTC
The 'Graphics and Objects' switch was only unset in the Linux version I installed, the
Windows version had it set by default after installation

The graphics and Objects will show on every Operating System as default!
Where have you got the OO 1.1Beta for Linux?
Comment 4 oliverk 2003-04-09 19:04:20 UTC
Possibly it only affected me then. Don't know why it should have happened. Possibly
something to do with the fact that I installed it over 1.02, some settings changed...
shrug ...
