Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 12743
Cursor position is wrong when added footnote
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
Don't know another way to put this, but when you add a footnote, the cursor is set in front of the number of the footnote. You manually have to put the cursor in the position where you can type a footnote-text. The cursor should be put there automatically. A little annoyance :) * 1. footnote text 2. * footnote text * Marks where the cursor is put. In example 1 is the present situation. In example 2 is the prefered situation.

I can't reproduice it. Does it happen with special document (if yes please upload them)? Can you add a screen shot of this? What happens if you directly type something before the number? Isn't it just a repaint problem? I must confess I can hardly believe in it because it is normaly impossible to set even actively the cursor *before* a numbering.
User cannot reproduce it (confirm by e-mail)
