After upgrading from 4.0.1 to 4.1.3, kerning no longer works on Mac. I'm using the latest macOS Sierra (10.12.4).

All fonts seem to be affected. Interestingly, ligature substitution works OK as shown.

Could this have to do with the switch to Core Text in 4.1.0? But that was a long time ago; I find it incredible that no one has reported this yet if all Mac users have been affected for three years. All text is now noticeably uglier than it should be.

While the screenshots are of the editor, the issue is not limited to editor presentation; output is affected as well.

How is this a duplicate of 127357? That issue deals with contextual OpenType substitutions, not kerning. Has it already been determined these bugs have a common root cause?
