Description kitchm 2017-02-10 18:51:45 UTC
I wanted to edit an error in the wiki and could not see how to create an account, even though the links I perused indicated it was not necessary. Sadly, without it one cannot edit. Catch-22

Account creation is deactivated due to spammers. Please ask on the dev@ mailing list [1] for an account. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Then please fix the wiki page where it references the recent files list. Evidently none of the methods for changing the list length work or are available any longer. Also, the method to find the file to edit manually does not work for me either.

Thanks.

Here's some additional and pertinent information for that wiki page.

History Manager is still working if one reboots Writer after the install. History Master is better and is available at http://berma.pagesperso-orange.fr/HM/index2.html. Install by same method.

A mention should be made regarding /home/mine/.openoffice/4/user/registrymodifications.xcu if applicable.

Thanks again for your help.

Okay updated I think everything except the other extension. But I check that out too.

you are welcome. Thanks for bringing this up.

I added the Extension alternative too, refering to OpenOffice Official link.
