Description jefftong 2003-03-22 03:04:02 UTC
At 643 and 643C Windows version, all users in same machine could share
OpenOffice.org. However, the only user can use is the one who installs because
the OOo shortcuts adds to his own menu rather than "All Users".

I simply cut the OOo shortcuts, put them into menu of "All Users" and changed
privilege. That's done.

Even MS Office can share on same machine. There's no reason not for OOo.

SBA: Changed component to "Installation".
Reassigned to Olaf.
Comment 2 Olaf Felka 2003-09-22 21:58:35 UTC
There is a reason why OOo doesn't behave like M$ office: OOo isn't designed like M$
office! See: http://documentation.openoffice.org/setup_guide/index.html
what's to do. For OOo 2.0 we will enhance installation process.

Not a defect.
