Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 124735
Create a project for AOO400 for Valencian RACV (ca-XR) in Pootle
Last modified: 2014-07-07 20:18:57 UTC
We have volunteers ready to help for a new Valencian RACV translation. As clarified on the l10n list, this is not the same as Valencian AVL (that is currently using the unofficial code ca-XV). As discussed on list, we need to create a new private code for Valencian RACV since no standards exist. Similarly to what was already done for Valencian AVL (which got ca-XV), the agreed pseudo-code to use would be "ca-XR" (X=private extension, as per ISO standard; R=RACV Valencian). In short: a new Pootle project must be created, initially empty (ca-XR volunteers: if you prefer that we prepopulate the srings with the current ca-XV translation just let us know in the comments below), with the same plural rules as ca-XV. ca-XV and ca-XR will be two separate languages like zh-CN and zh-TW.
Pootle updated Should I merge it initially with "ca"
For reference, message from Vincent on the l10n list: here you are the translation we done for our OpenOffice.org 3.1.1, is in folders with po files inside with same hierarchy than the current version, import it to our Pootle 'ca-XR' category, please. http://www.softwarevalencia.com/openoffice.3.1.1.tgz So they are contributing (and asking to import) their own previous work.
The team already imported their previous PO files, see l10n mailing list. Closing.
